• Closing date for applications in late October
• Shortlisting of candidates by selection committee.
• Interviews held in early December.
• Candidates contacted before Christmas vacation.

• Equality of representation from Primary and Secondary Schools.
• Fitness to travel verified by Medical Doctor.

Training:
5 weekend sessions and 5 individual team briefings to include:

• Working in the developing world
• Medical briefing and vaccinations from Tropical Medical Bureau.
• Pre-departure and in-country orientation
• Course curriculum and delivery
• Adult Education
• Child protection and working with vulnerable adults
• Development education
• Fundraising
